SPINE IS THE AXIS OF THE HUMAN BODY

There are seven major  centers (chakras) of activity in the spine and brain.Spine a very real and important part of human anatomy because of their relationship to one's mental / emotional outlook as well as one's spiritual awareness. The experience of other qualities and emotions, many of which are not felt in the heart but in other regions of the spine. Awareness of the spinal centers and their qualities are important because they reveal the direct relationship between the overall quality of one's life experience and the flow of energy in the spine and brain. An upward flow of energy leads to greater happiness and greater spiritual awareness. Greater spiritual awareness or "higher consciousness"–which is to say one's degree of divine joy or Bliss–is a result of rising energy in the spine and brain directed toward the seat of Bliss/spiritual awareness at the point between the eyebrows. Spine is where the qualities of the chakras really prove their practical benefit in the art of living in joy. when a true saint passes away, the top of their head feels hot. A normal person's life energy, on the other hand, is said to leave through the medulla oblongata at the time of death as their self-identity is still bound by the ego. Positive qualities of the chakras clearly relate to various spiritual teachings and practices. Active practice of exercise and Kayakalpa, direct all your life energy from each of the chakras up the spine to the spiritual eye. The spine has an amazing interaction with the chakras, an auspicious relationship based on where they all line up. The spine is your physical foundation of your body. It provides the support for muscles, organs, and glands. It is the portal for your nervous system, allowing the nerves to pass from your brain down your back and then to all parts of your body. The different segments of the spine have a particular significance to the chakras. Location of the chakras  are in the center of the body and they are the metaphysical energy centers of the ethereal or invisible body. Each chakras lies in an auspicious place along the spine.

Chakra 7 is at the top of the skull. When a baby is born, the bones of the skull are not fully closed, and there is a soft spot at the top of the head. This is the site of the 7th chakra. Because there is such a big opening when a baby is born, this is the place where one receives energy and information from spiritual sources.

Chakra 6 is at the base of the skull where the topmost vertebra of the cervical spine connects with the skull. This chakra opens to the infusion of information that enters from chakra 7 and then funnels that information into the spine.

Chakra 5 is at the place where the cervical and thoracic spine meets at the neck. The spine merges with the rib cage in the thoracic area.

Chakra 4 is in the middle of the 12 vertebrae of the thoracic spine and is in an auspicious location. There are 7 ribs that connect to both the backbone and the breastbone. There are 5 ribs that connect to the backbone and reach around to the front of the body forming the lower part of the rib cage. The 4th chakra is located between these two types of ribs, at the place where the ribs structurally change.

Chakra 3 is where the spine changes from thoracic to lumbar, that is, the vertebrae that are attached to ribs to vertebrae without connection to the ribs.

Chakra 2 is at the place where the spine changes from lumbar to sacral—this is the top of the hip cage. Charka 2 is deep within the pelvis and protected by bones.

Chakra 1 is where the bones of the tailbone lie.

These chakras are so close together they seem like one, but they can differentiate into 2 specific chakras with specific purposes.they are located along the spine extending out the front and back of the body.  The chakras are formed at the junction of three connected energy shafts that ascend the spine, one on each side of the central channel, the Shushumna. The two lesser channels of energy -- the Pingala on the right and Ida on the left -- run parallel to the spinal cord. Chakras both take up and collect prana (life force energy) and transform and pass on energy. Our material bodies could not exist without them for they serve as gateways for the flow of energy and life into our physical bodies.

M00LADHARA CHAKRA

The vortex region of a human’s bio-magnetic field, called as Mooladhara is the region where all the magnetic waves are clustered as a wave packet. This wave packet is called as the genetic center of a human. In humans, this packet consists of waves from the brain cells also. Hence, genetic center of a human, is the storage location of all bio-magnetic waves including the brain waves which decide the character of a human.

NAADIS - SUSHUMNA, IDA AND PINGALA

N

Vethathiri Maharishi Yoga - Simplified Physical Exercises

Be blessed by the Divine!

The system of physical exercises developed by Shri Vethathiri Maharishi after years of intense research, fulfils the need of maintaining the proper circulation of blood, heat, air, energy and bio-magnetism. Ensuring maintenance of health and prevention of disease in a gentle way. It develops the immunity system and thus acts as a preventive and as a curative to various diseases. Important organs such as brain, heart, lungs, intestines are activated. Blood circulation gets regulated in all parts of the body. It regulates the endocrine system and oxygenizes all the glands and organs. It ventilates the lungs, purifies the blood and increases the vital energy. It is a preventive for heart ailments. It cures pain in all part of the body. It is a curative and preventive for sciatica, arthritis, blood pressure, spinal pain and diabetes. It cures headache, insomnia, asthma and other bronchial troubles. It helps to correct defective eyesight by toning up the muscles around the eyes. Prevents eye strain, itching and eye diseases. It regulates menstrual system. Disease, old age, death are the three major problems which have been engaging the attention of medical scientists for centuries, and in a different way, that of philosophers as well. Swamiji vethathiri maharishi founded the simplified Kundalini Yoga for the benefit of humanity. This aim was to bring about peace around the world. A good healthy body awakens the good soul within us. This helps to maintain peace in and around each individual which finally helps to achieve, the goal of SKY trust. For this, swamiji introduced a different yogic technique that Kaya kalpa (Kaya means body and Kalpa means immortal of physical body) and simplified physical exercises (maharasana) technique and It is a rejuvenating technique. This technique is to rejuvenate the human health that prevents the aging process. Over centuries man has discovered that through suitable physical exercises, he can decrease his blood glucose level so that he may guard against ill health. Many patients reported a feeling of well-being, more relaxed and satisfied, and a sense of relief from anxiety. All these are founded, practised and given to the society to enjoy good health, long life, enough wealth, wisdom and peace by swamiji. The human body innately and instinctually has basic rhythms that control its autonomic functions. Exercises that is suitable for all climates and all sections of the human community in the contemporary age. In the human physical system, the subtle life-force and the gross body are linked by three media: blood, heat and air. If the normal quantity and quality of these media and their circulation are adversely affected, the harmony between the body and life-force is disturbed and the result is pain. For maintaining good health one must guard against disturbances in the body, life-force and the three media of blood, heat and air. Neglect, improper or over-indulgence in food, sleep, work, sex and use of thought-force cause disturbance to the normal functioning of the body in various ways. Natural causes such as climatic changes, hereditary imprints and changes in the planetary configurations and radiation also can disturb the health and mind. It is not possible to change any of these natural forces, but we can always be cautious in our own actions and thus avoid harmful results, and practice regular exercise to maintain the required fitness. If spiritual development is to take place, the body must be free of diseases and pain to the maximum extent. Therefore, all spiritual aspirants are first and foremost advised to take up this system of physical health that would enable one to reap much more benefits in spiritual practices. Simplified physical exercises that are designed to balance the circulations of blood, heat, air, and life energy and to keep the body fit without any stress or strain. People of all ages can practice and benefit from them.

Realisation of Consciousness
Realization of Truth is very simple. One who is intellectually agile can get it from one who is realized, theoretically. Knowing the theory or philosophy only is just like looking at the plan of a house.  If you really wish to liberate yourself from the strong chains of Ego, imprints of sins and illusions (Anava, Karma and Maya) seek a realized person and adopt him as your preceptor. The theory should be implemented, experienced and confirmed by practice of meditation on life force, and following the path of virtue in life. If you are sure that you are intellectually equipped and can attain Realisation by your own endeavor and practice meditation, To maintain peripheral state of Consciousness constantly linked with the Total consciousness, meditate on your life force and then practice to merging yourself with the Supreme Being. This kind of meditation should be learnt and practiced only under the guidance of a master well versed in this art of yoga. Realisation of Consciousness is the only part one perfect and higher knowledge by which one can know everything in the universe.

Basic Concepts Of The Vethathiri Cosmology

The Total is referred to as the primordial state (P.S.) which is the Unified Force. The primordial state gives rise to infinitesimal whirling wave – packets and is referred to as Vethon particles. Pure space, Nature acts as Gravity and by its self-compressive surrounding pressure forced with kinematic( a branch of dynamics that deals with aspects of motion apart from considerations of mass and force )quivering motion getting intensified and folded becomes 'knots'. By surrounding pressure force of Gravity, these 'knots' start spinning. Such spinning wave is further compressed by the surrounding force of Gravity and evolves into an infinitesimal, primary energy particle. This is VethonAnd with that the evolution of the universe started. Each Vethon produces a repulsive field around it and are called Yogons. This Yogon field is referred to as magnetic field. The Vethons thus produced are compressed at all times by the self-compressive force of the primordial state to a bounded region and this bounded region defines the physical universe. Thus, the physical universe is embedded in the primordial state. As more and more Vethons are created, the extent of this region enlarges. In the physical universe each Vethon interacts with the other Vethons through the magnetic field and is also acted upon by the self-compressive force. The Vethons evolve into various elementary particles and these elementary particles combine to form systems like elements, molecules and compounds. The number of Vethons in the system determines its massiveness and the intensity of the Yogon field between them determines the quality of the element or compound. As the primordial state is endowed with consciousness, every Vethon and hence every system is consequently endowed with the same consciousness, manifesting as the order of function of the system. The Yogon magnetic field in the system gets transformed into the various electrical, chemical and physical properties of the system.
